Description

ITI Areacode was established in 1972. It has been designated with an objective of strengthening the quantitative and qualitative needs for training in Kerala. The Institute situated at Areacode within 13 Acres of land provides all support to the trainees. The campus today is home to 700 trainees, supported by 80 staff and it brings out more than 350 young skilled workers annually. The Institute has been maintaining a strong industry bonding through Institute Management Committee keeping the latest innovative vocational training policy of both Central and State Governments.
The Institute is upgraded to CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE Scheme under centrally sponsored scheme in 2008.
